Databricks Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Databricks Architect for ETL Modernization and SSIS Migration.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze current SSIS packages and SQL Server Agent jobs, documenting existing data flows and dependencies
• Define target-state architecture using Databricks and design modern equivalents for existing ETL processes
• Support the implementation of Databricks pipelines and ensure data integrity and performance during migration

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, including clusters, jobs, notebooks, and Delta Lake
• Experience modernizing or migrating legacy ETL systems such as SSIS or Informatica
• Experience building data pipelines integrating SQL Server and Oracle
• Understanding of data synchronization patterns and ETL orchestration
• Ability to analyze large legacy data workflows and define modernization paths
