Databricks Architect

Job Summary

Leading the design and delivery of enterprise data platforms, the remote Databricks Architect will manage the architecture of the Databricks Lakehouse Platform, ensuring scalable data solutions for AI and business intelligence while driving compliance and governance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise data platforms supporting AI and analytics initiatives
• Establish standards for data quality, governance, and reusable architecture patterns while facilitating data discovery sessions with stakeholders
• Own platform security architecture and develop enterprise strategies for PII classification and protection across AI solutions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field
• 8+ years of experience in Data Architecture or Data Engineering, including 3+ years architecting enterprise Databricks solutions
• Deep expertise with the Databricks Lakehouse Platform, including Delta Lake and Unity Catalog
• Strong experience designing enterprise data governance and security frameworks
• Advanced proficiency with SQL and Python (PySpark)
