Databricks Consultant

Job Summary

To support a fast-paced data and AI initiative, the remote Databricks Consultant will manage the setup, implementation, testing, and optimization of a Databricks Genie workspace while ensuring data quality and governance standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and launch a Databricks Genie workspace and review data readiness for reporting and analytics
• Finalize implementation of new ingestion patterns and review data pipelines to ensure data quality standards are met
• Create, curate, and manage Genie spaces with strong business context, including documentation and SQL expressions for core business metrics

Required qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Databricks, including Genie spaces and Delta Lake architecture
• Strong SQL and data modeling experience
• Experience with silver/gold table structures and modern data pipeline frameworks
• Familiarity with LLM-powered analytics or conversational BI tools
• Strong understanding of data governance and data quality best practices
