Databricks Consultant
Job Summary
To support federal government clients, the part-time contracted Databricks Consultant will lead the design and development of a Databricks-based analytics dashboard prototype, utilizing expertise in Python, SQL, and Spark/PySpark while working remotely for approximately 80 hours per month over two months.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of a Databricks-based dashboard prototype, translating requirements into functional capabilities
- Design and implement scalable data workflows for various datasets, ensuring quality control and integration
- Develop interactive dashboard functionalities that support data visualization and analysis
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant technical field such as Computer Science or Data Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or software development
- Demonstrated hands-on experience developing solutions using Databricks
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in Spark/PySpark
- Experience in designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines and building interactive analytical dashboards
