Databricks Data Architect
Job Summary
To support data architecture initiatives, the full-time contract Databricks Data Architect will design enterprise-scale Databricks solutions and collaborate with infrastructure teams while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-scale Databricks solutions leveraging Azure data services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements for data analytics foundations
- Utilize Databricks Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, and PySpark for data management and workflows
Required qualifications
- Proven experience in a Databricks Architect role with a focus on design rather than solely implementation
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure data services, including ADLS Gen2 and Azure Data Factory
- Familiarity with Databricks Workflows and Managed Iceberg tables is a plus
- Experience in the insurance data domain is preferred
- Ability to work on a W-2 basis for the duration of the contract
