Databricks Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing Machine Learning Engineering team, the full-time remote Databricks Data Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using AWS, Python, Databricks, Spark, and PostgreSQL
• Collaborate with teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and provide mentorship to junior engineers
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure data quality and integrity while implementing best practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
• Five or more years of experience in data engineering or a related role
• Expert proficiency in Python, SQL, Databricks, and Spark
• Experience building cloud-based data pipelines in AWS
• Knowledge of data governance, security, privacy, and retention practices
