Databricks Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a high-profile program for a financial regulatory agency, the full-time remote Databricks Data Engineer will develop, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable data pipelines and platform services within the AWS and Databricks ecosystem, collaborating with senior engineers to enhance data accessibility and platform reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support ingestion, transformation, and publication of enterprise datasets using standardized data engineering processes
• Develop and maintain SQL-based reporting and analytics solutions using Databricks SQL Warehouses
• Assist with implementation and administration of Unity Catalog, data lineage, and data governance controls

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering, cloud engineering, or platform operations
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data engineering concepts
• Experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, or similar big data technologies
• Experience with AWS cloud services such as S3, IAM, and CloudWatch
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
