Databricks Data Scientist

Job Summary

To support client projects involving advanced analytics and machine learning, the full-time remote Databricks Data Scientist will develop and evaluate models, prepare datasets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data science solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, train, and evaluate machine learning and statistical models using the Databricks platform
• Prepare and maintain datasets for modeling and analysis, while writing and optimizing Python and SQL workflows
• Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into analytical approaches and communicate findings

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, or a relevant field
• 3-8 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics
• Strong expertise in Python and SQL for data analysis and modeling
• Experience with Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, or similar cloud-native data platforms
• Hands-on experience with the machine learning lifecycle, including model evaluation and deployment workflows
