Databricks Database Administrator

Job Summary

To support the migration to Azure Databricks, the full-time Databricks Database Administrator will manage and maintain Databricks workspaces, optimize platform performance, and ensure data availability in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Modernize the data warehouse by migrating the platform to Azure Databricks
• Administer and maintain Databricks workspaces across development, test, and production environments
• Implement and maintain security policies, governance controls, and operational processes for environment provisioning and support

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience administering enterprise data platforms
• 3+ years of hands-on Databricks administration experience
• Strong experience with Azure Databricks, Unity Catalog, and Delta Lake
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and scripting languages
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience
