Databricks Developer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Data Bricks Developer.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing reporting systems and assess compatibility with Databricks
• Design data models on Databricks by converting SQL queries into optimized SparkSQL or PySpark code
• Develop and execute migration strategies for reports while ensuring data integrity and accuracy

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Strong proficiency in SQL and in-depth knowledge of the Apache Spark ecosystem
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and familiarity with Delta Lake or similar technologies
• Experience in data migration and transformation projects
• Experience with Azure Databricks or other cloud-based platforms is preferred
