Databricks Solution Architect

Job Summary

To support client projects involving Databricks solution design and implementation, the full-time Databricks Solution Architect will architect and administer enterprise Databricks environments, focusing on data governance and secure solution implementation in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of Databricks solution architectures for data engineering, analytics, and AI/ML
• Administer Databricks workspaces and manage Unity Catalog structures, ensuring compliance with governance standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business and technical requirements into effective Databricks-native architecture patterns

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a relevant field
• 5-10 years of experience in data architecture, cloud data platforms, or technical solution delivery
• Hands-on experience with Databricks environments, including workspaces, jobs, and platform configurations
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and Spark-based development
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
