Databricks Solutions Architect
Job Summary
Providing advanced technical expertise, the full-time Resident Solutions Architect (RSA) - Databricks will design and implement cloud-native architectures while ensuring secure and scalable solutions in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end architectures on Databricks, Spark, and Delta Lake for large-scale ingestion and advanced analytics
- Architect medallion data lakehouse patterns with batch and real-time pipelines, enabling ML/AI capabilities
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering and data science teams while ensuring compliance with security standards
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in solutions architecture, data engineering, or related roles
- Strong expertise in Databricks, Apache Spark, and Delta Lake
- Proven experience designing secure, cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, R, or Scala in data/analytics contexts
- Master's degree in a technical discipline or Bachelor's with 10+ years of experience
