Datacenter Compute Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting the creation of a new automated warehouse, the full-time Datacenter Compute Engineer will build, monitor, and maintain all technical aspects of the maintenance function while ensuring compliance with regulatory and company safety standards in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the installation, commissioning, and upgrading of automated material handling equipment and warehouse control systems
• Develop and implement a Preventative Maintenance Program for automated equipment and systems
• Monitor system layouts, schematics, and automation components to determine root causes of defects and implement solutions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience
• 5 years' experience in an automated warehouse facility
• Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures and various noise levels
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends if needed
