DataOps Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a DataOps Engineer to enhance their data infrastructure and automate data management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engineer the data lifecycle by designing and implementing seamless transitions between operational SQL environments, analytics warehouses, and AI-ready data sets
• Implement Data as Code by treating AWS-hosted MS SQL infrastructure as a version-controlled, automated ecosystem
• Architect multi-layer reliability to ensure data quality and availability across various data tiers

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Database Administration
• Deep expertise in managing MS SQL Server on AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, CloudWatch)
• Proficient in Python, Bash, or PowerShell, with a working knowledge of C#
• Strong focus on results that improve the quality of life for the engineering team
