Job Summary

A company is looking for a DB2 Database Administrator (Production Support).

Key Responsibilities

Provide 24x7 production support for DB2 and related database platforms
Administer, monitor, and maintain DB2 databases in production and non-production environments
Implement and manage backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery strategies

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
6+ years DBA experience with DB2 (Mainframe DB2, DB2 LUW/UDB, or Informix)
3+ years supporting additional databases such as SQL Server and/or Oracle
Experience with one or more: MongoDB, Netezza, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, or Cosmos DB
Scripting experience (PowerShell, SQL, T-SQL, or shell scripting)
