Job Summary

To support a dynamic team, the remote contractor DB2 DBA will manage relational database systems, focusing on resolving DB issues for HCL eCommerce and participating in an on-call rotation.

Key responsibilities
  • Resolve relational database issues specifically for HCL eCommerce applications
  • Participate in on-call rotation and troubleshoot undocumented issues
  • Create and enhance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on operational feedback
Required qualifications
  • Minimum of 1+ year of IT experience
  • Essential experience with DB2 (Version 10.5 preferred) and data load/import utilities
  • Capability to write and execute basic SQL queries
  • Experience with DB2 Purescale is preferred
  • Availability to participate in an on-call rotation
