Job Summary
Seeking a skilled DB2 LUW Database Administrator for a remote, full-time position, responsible for administering and maintaining DB2 LUW database environments across on-premises and cloud platforms, supporting application development teams, and performing database migrations and performance tuning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain DB2 LUW database environments across on-premises and cloud platforms
- Create and configure DB2 LUW instances and databases across Linux, Unix, and Windows environments
- Support application development teams with database design, technical requirements, and operational stability
Required Qualifications:
- Strong experience with DB2 LUW database administration
- Solid understanding of RDBMS concepts and experience with database object migration and data conversion
- Experience working with DB2 LUW on Linux, Unix, and Windows environments
- Strong Linux and Unix shell scripting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred
