Job Summary
To support enterprise database environments in a hybrid delivery model, the remote DB2 LUW Database Administrator will manage and maintain DB2 LUW databases across Linux, Unix, and Windows platforms, focusing on database migration, performance tuning, and collaboration with application development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain DB2 LUW database environments across on-premises and cloud platforms
- Create and manage database objects and perform database migrations to cloud-based platforms
- Support application development teams by analyzing technical requirements and providing database design services
Required Qualifications:
- Strong experience with DB2 LUW database administration
- Solid understanding of RDBMS concepts and experience with SQL and PL/SQL
- Experience working with DB2 LUW on Linux, Unix, and Windows environments
- Strong Linux and Unix shell scripting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred
