Job Summary
Seeking an experienced DB2 LUW Database Administrator, the remote full-time position will manage and maintain DB2 LUW database environments across on-premises and cloud platforms, focusing on database administration, migration, and performance tuning while collaborating with application development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain DB2 LUW database environments across on-premises and cloud platforms
- Create and manage DB2 LUW instances and databases, supporting development, testing, and production environments
- Perform database migrations to cloud-based platforms and ensure operational stability and database availability
Required Qualifications:
- Strong experience with DB2 LUW database administration and RDBMS concepts
- Experience with Linux, Unix, and Windows environments for DB2 LUW
- Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL, with skills in query performance tuning and optimization
- Strong Linux and Unix shell scripting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred
