Job Summary
Seeking an experienced DB2 LUW Database Administrator, this full-time remote position will manage and maintain DB2 LUW database environments across on-premises and cloud platforms, focusing on database migration, performance tuning, and collaboration with application development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain DB2 LUW database environments across on-premises and cloud platforms
- Create and configure DB2 LUW instances and databases across Linux, Unix, and Windows environments
- Support application development teams with database design and technical requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Strong experience with DB2 LUW database administration
- Solid understanding of RDBMS concepts
- Experience working with DB2 LUW on Linux, Unix, and Windows environments
- Strong Linux and Unix shell scripting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred
