Job Summary
To support enterprise database environments, the remote DB2 LUW Database Administrator will manage DB2 LUW administration across Linux, Unix, and Windows platforms, focusing on database migration, performance tuning, and collaboration with application development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain DB2 LUW database environments across on-premises and cloud platforms
- Create and configure DB2 LUW instances and databases, supporting development, testing, and production
- Perform database migrations to cloud-based platforms and support operational stability and maintenance
Required Qualifications:
- Strong experience with DB2 LUW database administration
- Solid understanding of RDBMS concepts and experience with database object migration
- Proficiency in Linux and Unix shell scripting, along with SQL and PL/SQL knowledge
- Experience working with DB2 LUW in Linux, Unix, and Windows environments
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred
