Job Summary
To support enterprise database environments in a remote capacity, the full-time DB2 LUW Database Administrator will manage and maintain DB2 LUW databases across Linux, Unix, and Windows platforms, focusing on database migration, performance tuning, and collaboration with application development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain DB2 LUW database environments across on-premises and cloud platforms
- Create and configure DB2 LUW instances and databases based on application requirements
- Support database design, operational stability, and perform database migrations to cloud-based platforms
Required Qualifications:
- Strong experience with DB2 LUW database administration
- Solid understanding of RDBMS concepts and experience with database object migration
- Experience working with DB2 LUW on Linux, Unix, and Windows environments
- Strong Linux and Unix shell scripting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred
