DB2 Warehouse Administrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for an IBM DB2 Warehouse Administrator to support the implementation, migration, and ongoing operations of an enterprise Data Warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and administer IBM DB2 Warehouse in an AWS environment
• Support initial data migration from vendor-hosted AWS to state-hosted AWS into DB2 Warehouse
• Provide ongoing database operations and maintenance support, including incident response and root cause analysis

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 8+ years of experience as a Database Administrator supporting DB2 or 3+ years of experience for DB2 Warehouse edition
• Hands-on experience administering databases in a cloud environment (AWS preferred)
• Strong SQL skills and experience with performance tuning and query optimization
• Experience supporting enterprise data warehouse or analytical database platforms
