Job Summary

A company is looking for a DBQ Reviewer I.

Key Responsibilities

• Review complex medical exam reports for completeness and adherence to VA guidelines
• Identify and document quality issues, escalating to management as necessary
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to provide feedback and assist in revising medical exam reports

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the medical field as a Scribe, Military Corpsman/Medic, or Certified Medical Assistant, biller/coder
• Alternatively, minimum 1 year of relevant experience as a Quality Analyst in a healthcare setting
• At least 6 months of experience conducting QA reviews of DBQs according to VA and MDE requirements
• Deep knowledge of medical terminology and quality assurance methodologies
