Job Summary

A company is looking for a DBQ Reviewer I to support the completeness and accuracy of medical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Examine complex medical exam reports for completeness and adherence to VA guidelines
Identify quality issues and escalate them to management as necessary
Collaborate with healthcare providers to provide feedback and assist in revising medical exam reports

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 1 year experience in the medical field as a Scribe, Military Corpsman/Medic, or Certified Medical Assistant; or as a Quality Analyst in a healthcare setting
At least 6 months of experience conducting QA reviews of DBQs according to VA and MDE requirements
Deep knowledge of medical terminology and quality assurance methodologies
Proficient with computers, including Microsoft tools
