DC Licensed Associate Attorney

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of legal experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and provide legal advice across various practice areas
• Assist with the formation and exemption recognition of new nonprofit entities and provide advice on lobbying and campaign finance compliance
• Provide counsel on employment law obligations, conduct workplace investigations, and develop employment policies and agreements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-5 years of legal experience, or extensive experience working with nonprofits
• Must be a member of or eligible for admission to the DC Bar
• Strong academic credentials
• Ability to manage multiple client requests and adapt to new laws
• Located in the DC area or willing to relocate
