DC Licensed Deputy General Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, advise, and provide legal oversight to in-house lawyers on various legal issues related to tax-exempt organizations
• Supervise administrative activities and operations within the legal department, including staffing and budget preparation
• Lead the development and coordination of the General Counsel's management team and manage legal department staff

Qualifications and Requirements

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school required
• A minimum of twelve (12) years of relevant experience required
• Proven management experience in a mission-based organization
• Current license in good standing to practice law
• Experience supervising other attorneys required
