DC Licensed Mental Health Therapist

Job Summary

Seeking a DC Licensed Mental Health Therapist, this fully remote 1099 position will provide virtual therapy to college students, focusing on delivering evidence-based interventions and collaborating with campus treatment providers while maintaining flexible hours within a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality virtual therapy using evidence-based interventions such as CBT, DBT, and MI
• Maintain timely and precise records of all clinical interactions to ensure continuity of care
• Collaborate with campus treatment providers and administrative support to enhance overall student care

Required qualifications:

• Active independent clinical licensure (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC) in DC
• Ability to conduct thorough biopsychosocial intakes with clear diagnostic assessments
• Experience treating a diverse cohort of students with respect and understanding
• Equipped with a laptop/desktop computer with quality video camera and stable internet connection
• Multi-state licensure is an added advantage
