DC Licensed Retirement Plan Consultant

Job Summary

Independently managing a complex block of defined contribution retirement plans, the full-time DC Licensed Retirement Plan Consultant will oversee plan administration, compliance testing, and client relationships while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the administration and deliverables of assigned retirement plans, ensuring compliance with regulations and deadlines
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, proactively communicating about plan matters, deadlines, and service expectations
• Analyze and resolve complex plan issues, collaborating with internal teams to ensure a consistent client experience

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent relevant work experience may be considered
• 4+ years of experience in defined contribution retirement plan administration with a focus on client-facing responsibilities
• Industry-related credential through ASPPA, NIPA, or a comparable organization preferred
• Strong knowledge of ERISA and Internal Revenue Code requirements related to retirement plans
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and retirement administration systems
