DC Licensed Therapist
Job Summary
Providing individual telehealth therapy to LGBTQ+ clients, the part-time contract Pre-Licensed Therapist (LGSW, LGPC, or MFT) will deliver affirming, trauma-informed care while working toward full licensure, with flexible scheduling and minimal administrative responsibilities.
Key responsibilities
- Provide individual (1-1) therapy in a telehealth setting, delivering evidence-based treatment tailored to the LGBTQ+ community's needs
- Conduct clinical assessments and maintain timely, HIPAA-compliant documentation in the EMR system
- Participate in regular clinical supervision to support development toward full independent licensure
Required qualifications
- Active DC license as an LGSW, LGPC, or MFT
- Experience and strong passion for working with LGBTQ+ clients
- Cultural competence in delivering affirming, identity-centered care
- Comfortable providing individual therapy in a telehealth setting
- Able to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week with flexible scheduling
