Key Responsibilities

• Report and write news and analysis for online and print publications
• Provide timely and authoritative information competing with local and national outlets
• Produce high-impact digital projects in collaboration with other newsroom teams

Required Qualifications

• At least three years of experience in a newsroom or related work environment
• Strong news judgment and creativity
• Persistence in filing and tracking public records requests
• Ability to collaborate in a fast-changing news environment
• Understanding of the dynamics and challenges facing San Francisco and the Bay Area
