Key Responsibilities

• Independently underwrite a variety of mortgage loans, ensuring compliance and risk assessment
• Review and analyze loan documentation to determine eligibility and make timely underwriting decisions
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to gather necessary information and ensure smooth processing of applications

Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years of mortgage underwriting or lending experience required
• Active DE/CHUMS and LAPP/SAR certification required
• 2+ years of experience with manual underwriting
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred
• Understanding of compliance standards and federal regulations
