DE Certified Underwriting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Regional Underwriting Manager to oversee the underwriting department and ensure service level agreements are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to Underwriters on processes and guidelines
• Serve as the primary contact for Underwriter questions and escalations
• Manage loan pipeline to ensure compliance with service level agreements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/experience
• DE, SAR, and LAPP certifications required; USDA experience is a plus
• 5+ years of Mortgage Underwriting experience with agency guideline knowledge
• 5+ years of underwriting supervisory experience
• Experience with Encompass LOS and knowledge of compliance requirements
