Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriting Team Lead.

Key Responsibilities

Review and analyze loan applications and supporting documents for compliance with standards
Make informed decisions on loan approvals and denials in accordance with policies and regulations
Supervise and provide training to a team of DE underwriters while collaborating with loan processing teams

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mortgage Underwriting Supervisor
DE (Direct Endorsement) certification
Proficiency in underwriting FHA reverse mortgages and related products
Strong knowledge of mortgage industry regulations and guidelines
Experience in a supervisory or team lead role is a plus
