DE Licensed Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter (DE/SAR).

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite 2-3 new loans daily while analyzing borrower information to ensure compliance with guidelines
• Maintain 24-48 hour turn times and clear UTC conditions within 24 hours
• Stay updated on investor and agency guideline changes and provide training support to the sales force

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of underwriting experience with comprehensive knowledge of the mortgage business
• Experience with FHA/VA/USDA/Agency loans
• Direct Endorsement (DE) certification required; LAPP/SAR preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
• Experience with Encompass preferred
