Job Summary

Bringing enthusiasm and attention to detail, the full-time remote DE/SAR Licensed Underwriter will analyze loan files for compliance, evaluate credit packages for residential mortgage loans, and ensure investment quality while collaborating with a goal-oriented team.

Key responsibilities

• Completes thorough analysis of loan files to determine compliance with investor guidelines
• Evaluates credit packages and collateral for residential mortgage loans to ensure quality and creditworthiness
• Assists mortgage production team in qualifying loans and maintains compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Required qualifications

• DE/SAR certification required
• 3-5 years of mortgage underwriting experience
• Strong documentation, organization, and analytical skills
• Ability to handle frequent changes and work in a high-volume environment
• Creative problem-solving skills
