DE/SAR TPO Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a TPO Underwriter (DE/SAR).

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite 2-3 new loans per day while analyzing borrower income, credit, and assets for compliance
• Maintain 24-48 hour turn times and clear UTC conditions within 24 hours
• Stay updated on investor and agency guideline changes and assist in training new underwriters

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• 3-5 years of experience as an Underwriter with knowledge of the mortgage business
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
• Experience with FHA/VA/Agency loans and Direct Endorsement (DE)
• LAPP/SAR preferred
• Knowledge of Encompass LOS
