DE/VA Licensed Mortgage Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a DE/VA Mortgage Underwriter with wholesale experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate mortgage loan applications for compliance with policies and regulations
• Analyze borrower financials, credit reports, and property appraisals to determine eligibility
• Collaborate with processors, loan officers, and stakeholders to resolve questions and expedite processes

Qualifications

• Active DE and VA underwriting certification required
• Must have used DE and VA designation within the last 11 months
• Minimum 5 years of residential mortgage underwriting experience
• Proven history of longevity in prior roles
• Strong understanding of FHA, VA, Conventional, Non-QM, and Jumbo products
