Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the DE/VA Licensed Mortgage Underwriter will analyze loan files for compliance with guidelines, underwrite residential mortgage loans, and ensure investment quality while maintaining productivity standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough analyses of loan files to ensure compliance with company and FHA/VA guidelines
• Underwrite credit packages and collateral for residential mortgage loans, ensuring high-quality loan products
• Maintain productivity standards, including a turnaround time of 48 hours for underwriting decisions

Required qualifications

• Minimum three years of mortgage underwriting experience with knowledge of underwriting guidelines
• Experience with private investor and private mortgage insurance guidelines
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
• Technologically proficient with strong organizational skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical abilities
