Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Underwriting Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of underwriters in both remote and on-site environments
• Oversee daily underwriting operations to ensure compliance with investor and regulatory guidelines
• Monitor underwriting quality and implement corrective action plans as needed

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of mortgage underwriting experience
• 2+ years of leadership or management experience preferred
• Active DE and VA designations required
• Strong knowledge of agency guidelines and government lending
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience
