Job Summary
Seeking a full-time remote Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher (O&M Certified), the candidate will provide virtual specialized instruction and consultation to students with complex sensory and communication needs while collaborating with educational teams and families throughout the school year.
Key responsibilities
- Provide virtual specialized instruction and consultation for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing
- Develop and implement individualized instructional strategies aligned with IEP goals
- Participate in virtual IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Required qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field
- Valid state certification/licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing
- Current professional Orientation & Mobility (O&M) certification
- Demonstrated experience providing DHH educational and O&M services
- Advanced proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
