Dean of Graduate Studies

Job Summary

As the senior academic leader, the fully remote Dean of Graduate Studies will manage the vision and quality of graduate teaching and learning, overseeing curriculum and academic success teams while driving program innovation and student outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Set academic strategy by aligning institutional priorities with measurable outcomes for the Curriculum, Instruction, and Academic Support teams
• Reimagine and grow graduate programming by identifying emerging needs in art education and higher education
• Own curriculum design and innovation, piloting new learning models and ensuring academic quality and student success

Required qualifications

• At least 6 years of multi-disciplinary leadership experience within higher education
• Terminal degree in education or a closely related field
• Hands-on experience with accreditation, assessment, and academic effectiveness
• Proven track record of developing curriculum and faculty in a remote environment
• Experience in online or distance education, particularly in graduate and adult-learning contexts
