Debt Capital Markets Attorney

Job Summary

To support a growing Corporate and Securities team, the remote Debt Capital Markets Attorney will focus on bond issuances, capital-raising transactions, and covenant structuring while providing legal guidance on U.S. securities law and SEC regulations governing debt securities.

Key responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating bond offering documents, indentures, and related covenant packages
• Providing legal guidance on U.S. securities law and SEC regulations related to bond issuances and capital-raising strategies
• Collaborating with issuers, underwriters, and internal finance teams on high-yield and cross-border debt capital markets transactions

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in debt capital markets, securities law, or related corporate finance practices
• Strong knowledge of SEC regulations, bond offerings, and covenant structures
• Proven track record of advising clients on high-yield bond transactions and international debt issuances
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and licensed to practice law in an applicable jurisdiction
