Debt Collection Specialist

Job Summary

Collecting payments on assigned delinquent checking accounts, the full-time DDA Collector will review documentation, contact customers by telephone, and arrange repayment schedules while working remotely from designated locations.

Key responsibilities

• Review documentation and contact customers to collect payments on delinquent accounts
• Create written correspondence as requested by customers regarding their accounts
• Arrange repayment schedules to minimize financial loss to the organization

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two to three years of experience in a collections call center
• Good knowledge of loan collection policies and fair debt collection practices
• Strong customer service and relations skills
• Ability to organize and interpret information effectively
