Debt Negotiator

Job Summary

Negotiating directly with creditors and law firms, the full-time remote Debt Negotiator (Creditor Escalations) will manage client files, conduct high-volume negotiations, and secure favorable settlements to help clients regain financial control.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate client debts to completion by communicating hardships and obtaining settlements that halt legal actions
• Establish and maintain relationships with law firms while analyzing client portfolios for effective resolution strategies
• Achieve monthly KPIs set by management and gather necessary legal documentation for account resolutions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or relevant work experience
• Experience in a metrics-based or goals-driven environment preferred
• Analytical mindset with strong business acumen
• High energy and motivation to provide exceptional client service
• Computer competency, with prior experience using a CRM platform preferred
