Debt Negotiator

Job Summary

Negotiating directly with creditors and law firms, the full-time remote Debt Negotiator (Creditor Escalations) will advocate for clients by securing favorable settlements and managing high-volume negotiations to resolve accounts efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate client debts to completion, communicating hardships and obtaining settlements to halt legal actions
• Establish and maintain relationships with law firms while analyzing client portfolios to develop effective strategies
• Manage client files and maintain momentum through daily outbound calls and proactive communication with creditors

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or relevant work experience
• Experience in a metrics-based or goals-driven environment
• Strong analytical mindset with business acumen and professionalism
• Ability to build rapport with clients and creditors, demonstrating high energy and motivation
• Proficiency in using CRM platforms, with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks
