Debt Negotiator

Job Summary

Negotiating directly with creditors and law firms, the full-time remote Debt Negotiator (Creditor Escalations) will manage client files, conduct high-volume negotiations, and work towards securing favorable settlements to help clients regain financial control.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate client debts by communicating hardships and establishing settlements to halt legal actions
• Maintain relationships with law firms and analyze client portfolios to strategize effective debt resolution
• Achieve monthly KPIs while managing confidential information and collaborating with team members

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant work experience
• Experience in a metrics-based or goals-driven environment
• Strong analytical mindset and business acumen
• Ability to build rapport with clients and creditors
• Proficiency with CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce
