Debt Negotiator (ID Licensed)

Job Summary

Negotiating directly with creditors and law firms, the full-time remote Debt Negotiator (ID Licensed) will manage client files, conduct high-volume negotiations, and work towards favorable settlements to help clients regain financial control.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate client debts to completion by communicating hardships and obtaining settlements that halt legal actions
• Establish and maintain relationships with law firms while analyzing client portfolios to develop effective strategies
• Achieve monthly KPIs and gather required legal documentation for account resolution

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant work experience
• Experience in a metrics-based or goals-driven environment
• Strong analytical mindset with business acumen and professionalism
• Ability to build rapport with clients and creditors effectively
• Computer competency, with prior experience using a CRM platform preferred
