Job Summary

Supporting customers through sensitive account-related conversations, the full-time Deceased Account Specialist will manage delinquent consumer accounts, handle death notifications, and provide empathetic assistance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage assigned delinquent consumer accounts and identify appropriate repayment or resolution options with customers or authorized parties
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls related to death notifications, payment discussions, and account servicing inquiries
  • Review account documentation and maintain accurate records while collaborating with internal teams for timely resolutions
Required qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two to three years of experience in collections and/or customer service activities
  • Ability to manage confidential information in a private work environment
  • Strong organizational skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience handling complex or emotionally sensitive customer interactions
