Job Summary
Supporting customers through sensitive account-related conversations, the full-time Deceased Account Specialist will manage delinquent consumer accounts, handle death notifications, and provide empathetic assistance while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Manage assigned delinquent consumer accounts and identify appropriate repayment or resolution options with customers or authorized parties
- Handle inbound and outbound calls related to death notifications, payment discussions, and account servicing inquiries
- Review account documentation and maintain accurate records while collaborating with internal teams for timely resolutions
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two to three years of experience in collections and/or customer service activities
- Ability to manage confidential information in a private work environment
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Experience handling complex or emotionally sensitive customer interactions
