Default Servicing Specialist

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and dedicated, the full-time remote Default Servicing Specialist will manage homeowner communications during default events, ensuring accurate monitoring and timely execution of default tasks within the investment portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for homeowners when investments enter default status
• Conduct due diligence on default events, including property report ordering and research
• Maintain accurate electronic files and comply with all state and federal guidelines

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in mortgage servicing, loan post-closing, or default servicing
• Familiarity with mortgage and default documents such as foreclosures and bankruptcy documents
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field
• Strong client service skills with the ability to communicate professionally
• Proven ability to multitask and work under pressure in a deadline-oriented environment
